Greek Yogurt Smoothie

This might seem be the most uninformative post I’ve posted so far, but I’ve just added an ingredient to my smoothies I’ve never used before. You may use it all the time and wonder why I haven’t?!?. In case you don’t, I felt like I should share. Greek yogurt. Like, nonfat plain Greek yogurt. It tastes terrible on its own, but it was so so good in a smoothie! I’ve used it in plenty of let recipes, but for some reason it has never made it into smoothies until this past week. I’ve been trying to up my protein intake, while still keeping my calories and fats down. The other day I had the idea to throw in some, and our smoothies haven’t looked back since. It doesn’t affect the flavor, but gives the best texture! We love it. So, if you are like me and haven’t tried this yet, you should. It’s a game changer. Here’s the basic recipe we’ve been using:

2 bananas
3 cups frozen strawberries
1.5 tablespoons honey
.75 cups nonfat plain Greek yogurt
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
