Tis the season for cookie exchanges, right? I’ll share a few of my favorites. First up is @marthastewartmolasses spice cookies. These have been in our top ten list for YEARS. I love them because they have just the right amount of molasses, not too overpowering and perfectly chewy and tender. These came from her cookies issues which has about 20 other recipes I love as well. Here’s the link for the recipe, then I won’t have to type it out.

My husband made a rare appearance in the kitchen. It’s like a loch Ness sighting ????. Normally he looks to stick to the eating end of the process. Which works just fine in our relationship, because I love to cook and bake. He’s ALWAYS down for hanging with the fam though, even if it involves baking. Or maybe it was the motivation of those molasses cookies that drew him in. Either way, it was great.
These cookies are good to freeze as well. That’s what we were doing. Set them side by side in a lined sheet pan until frozen, then transfer to a ziplock bag. I love freezing cookies. It helps me to stay ahead of the holiday game!
