Best Strawberries and Cream Porridge

Servings: 4 servings
- 2 cups Einkorn Wheat
- 4 cups water
- ½ teaspoon salt
- maple syrup for topping I use about 1-2 tablespoons per bowl
- milk for after it is cooked. I use about ½ cup per bowl. This will be personal though.
- heavy cream I use about 1-2 tablespoons per bowl
- 2-3 cups Chopped Strawberries
Place einkorn, water, and salt into the pressure cooker. Seal and start pressure cook for 20 minutes. Once it is finished, do the quick release. Remove the lid and check the grains. If there is still quite a bit of liquid, there never is in mine, but might be in yours. If there is still liquid, you can turn the pressure cooker back to saute and let it cook out a little. This will make enough for 4 servings with some leftover.Next, divide the einkorn into your serving bowls. I like to add the milk and maple syrup and mix it in. Then add in your heavy cream and top with the berries. If you are using this as meal prep, when it is finished cooking, allow it to cool, then pack in airtight containers and store it in the fridge for up to 7 days. Now, sit back and enjoy. You deserve it!
