  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 ½ cup pineapple
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • salt to taste

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Pulse until they are smooth.
  • Pour it into a saucepan and heat over medium heat. Cook, stirring constantly until the sauce has thickened.
  • I chose to strain the sauce, but you can also leave the chunks in it if you want. When the sauce is strained, it is ready to go!
  • The sauce will hold well in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
