These delicate pastries, made by elegantly rolling apple slices in a flaky crust, are as pleasing to the eyes as they are to the taste buds.

Start by slicing the apples thinly.

1.

Soak your apples in lemon water and microwave them. Then drain the excess liquid.

2.

Roll out your pie dough and slice it into strips.

3.

Layer the apple slices into the pie dough strips.

4.

Fold over the pie dough and roll from one end to the other. Place the rosettes into a muffin pan.

5.

Once they are all rolled and in your pan, brush on more butter and sprinkle with more granulated sugar.

6.

Bake until the pie dough is golden brown and the apples are tender.

7.

You are going to love these delicious apple rosettes. They are so pretty and make the perfect dessert. You could use these for brunch, baby showers, or even bridal showers.
