If you want a fun twist of the classic apple pie, try this Homemade Apple Pie instead and get that sweet and slightly tart taste.
Place the apples and blueberries into the pan. Pour a mixture of granulated sugar, brown sugar, cornstarch, and salt on top. Then cook slightly.
Roll out your pie dough and place it in your pie pan.
Roll out more dough and cut it into strips. Then weave the strips together to form a lattice top.
Then place the apple and blueberry mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Then put the lattice top on top of the filling and brush with eggwash, sprinkle with sugar and bake until golden brown.
After baking, let the pie cool and enjoy!
