1. Whole Wheat      Flour 2. Baking Powder 3. Salt 4. Butter 5. Buttermilk

Step One:

I like to make my biscuits in a food processor, but I also included instructions for making them without a food processor. 

Step TWO:

Add in the chilled butter and pulse to break it up. 

Step Three:

Last in is the buttermilk. Don't overmix!

Step five:

place on a lightly floured surface.

Step six:

Use a tri-fold to create even more layers in the biscuits. 

Step seven:

Cut with a biscuit cutter or lid.

Step eight:

I like mine to be about 1 1/2-2 inches tall.

Bake until they are a golden brown and the layers have separated.
