Filet is a delicious steak that is perfect for entertaining. Let me show you my favorite way to cook this cut of steak. 

Start by bringing your steak to room temp then seasoning.


Sear in a hot pan, then add in butter and herbs. Baste the steaks  with the butter mixture.


Top with herbs and compound butter.


Be sure to let the filet rest before cutting into it.
