Sprouting grains is so much easier than you might think! Let me show you how in a few quick steps. 

Sprouted grains are healthy superfoods that can be added to your favorite salad, wrap, smoothie, etc. 

Grain of choice- I used kamut grains here. Make sure they are whole grains, not hulled or pearl, they will not sprout.

Mason jar or other sprouting jar

Sprouting lid or cheesecloth

Soak your grains for 2-4 hours in a dark place. I put it in the pantry.

Rinse well and drain.

Turn upside down and let this sit in a dark place for 2-4 hours.

Repeat the rinse and drain process several times, then let it sit overnight.

This is the grains after 6 hours.

This is the grains after 18 hours.

Here they are after 36 hours. Ready to go.
