These oat groats are the healthiest way to eat oats. They are simple to make and delicious!
If you aren't familiar with oat groats, they are the whole Oat. Meaning the have the germ, endosperm, and bran still intact.
Toppings of choice. I used Maple syrup, apples, walnuts, and a touch of heavy cream.
Add the oat groats to the pressure cooker.
Then the water and salt. Set to pressure high and cook until it beeps.
Let it natural release for several minutes, then carefully remove the lid.
It should be cooked and tender. Serve as you like!
I served mine topped with fresh apples and walnuts, but topping possibilities really are endless. You can use butter and maple syrup, chocolate chips, or any other fresh fruit and nut.
