Bring milk to a boil in a medium sauce pan. Add in the oats and spices and cook

While the oats are cooking, cut carrots into matchsticks

Put them into a skillet with a little butter and maple syrup, and cook to glaze.

Top with the maple carrots, butter, maple syrup, nuts, and golden raisins.
