Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Scones Recipe
Even though these scones are made with 100% whole wheat flour, you will be surprised with just how light and flaky they are.
Start by mixing together the dry ingredients in a medium size bowl.
Cut the cold butter into chunks and add to the flour mixture.
With your hands or a pastry cutter, cut the butter to pea-size pieces.
Add in the remaining wet ingredients and mix.
Last in are the mini chocolate chips.
Form into your scones. I like the triangular shape.
Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake until they are golden brown.
