Creamy Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 ¼ cups milk I used unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups regular oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Sweetener of choice
  • Toppings of choice

Instructions

  • Bring the water and milk to a boil over medium heat.
  • Add in the salt, oats, and cinnamon.
  • Cook for about 5 minutes over medium-low heat until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the butter.
  • I like to let this sit for 2-3 minutes so the oats will finish absorbing the liquid.
  • Spoon into your bowls and top as you like!
