Combine the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl and mix well. To this, add the milk, yogurt, and 2 tablespoons of butter.
Mix with a spatula or spoon, then turn it out onto a surface. Knead it until the flour is well incorporated. This should only take a minute, maybe 2.
Place it back into your bowl, cover and let it rise until it has doubled.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll each dough into a circle or oval that is about ¼-inch thick. Cover and let these rest for 10-20 minutes.
Heat your pan or griddle over medium heat. Once it is heated, brush it with melted butter. Place as many flatbread pieces as will fit on your pan or griddle.
Cook them for 1-2 minutes on each side. They should be a deep brown and lightly charred on the bubbles.
Remove and brush with more melted butter if you want. Serve immediately.
