Add all ingredients for the bread dough to your mixer. Start with 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour. Mix on medium speed for 1 minute. Check the dough, you want it to be tacky, but not too tacky (sticky).
If you need to add more flour, add another ¼-1/2 cup. Mix and check again. Once the dough is ready, mix on medium speed for 6 minutes.
Cover and let the dough rise in a warm place until it is doubled. In my house, this takes between 30 minutes- 1 hour 30 minutes. It will depend on how cool the house is and what the humidity is.
Combine your filling ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Roll your dough on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle about 12 inches by 18 inches. Spread half of the garlic parmesan fill over the rectangle.
Then fold the rectangle in half. It should now be 6 inches by 18 inches. Cut the dough into strips. They should be about ¾-1 inch strips by 6 inches. You can see in the photos in the post.
Twist all the pieces and place them on a baking sheet. I used 2 for mine, but you can squeeze them onto 1 if you want.
Cover and let them rise until they are doubled. At the end of the rising time, preheat your oven to 395 degrees.
When the rolls are doubled, place them in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and brush with the garlic parmesan mixture.
That is it! Enjoy these while they are piping hot. That is how we like them best!
