Ingredients

  • 4-6 plums
  • cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Cut plums in half, then remove pit. You can either roast in halves or cut into sections like I did. Pour onto baking sheet
  • Add maple syrup, vanilla and salt into small bowl or jar. Mix.
  • Pour the Maple syrup over the plums. You can also do this all in a bowl and mix well. If you do it on the pan like I did, just make sure and mix so the maple syrup mix coverers everything.
  • Place in oven and roast for about 15-30 minutes. Test the plums with a fork. You want them to be tender, but not mushy.
  • Remove from pan and they are ready to.
  • I love to serve these while they are still slightly warm. They are perfect over ice cream ( I prefer a butter pecan or vanilla), they are also really good over oatmeal or other porridge. They are delicious on their own as well.
  • Now, sit back and enjoy. You deserve it!
