This cherry slab pie is made to feed a crowd! It is simple to make and has the perfect cherry flavor.
Let me show you how easy it is to make, and you can even make it ahead of time!
I like to make my lattice top separate and them place it on the top. The recipe post will show you how I do this.
I also cut leaves for decoration as well.
Roll out your pie dough and press into the pan.
Fill with the filling and dot with butter. This can be homemade or store-bought. I have included my recipe.
Top with the lattice topper.
Brush with an egg wash. Then place on the decorations, brush them as well. Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake until it is perfect and golden brown.
