Not only is this Easy and Fruity Non-Alcoholic Sangria Recipe a refreshing drink for any time of year, it is also a strikingly beautiful drink to serve at your next family meal or get-together.

Our family doesn't drink alcohol, so I have come up with plenty of other mocktail recipes you might want to check out too. What about raspberry mojito? This is a favorite flavor combination of mine. I also love this grapefruit and mint mocktail it is such a unique flavor combination.

    What is sangria?

It is a drink with roots in Spain and Portugal. Traditionally it is made with red wine, a variety of fruits, and often sparkling water as well. For this non-alcoholic version, I will be subbing in fruit juices in place of the red wine.

    Ingredients

    • Fruits- I used a blend of oranges, lemons, lime, and apples. The beauty of this drink is you can also use any other fruits or berries you like as well.
    • Fruit juice- I used grape juice and the juice of one orange for mine. You can also add in a blend of other juice you might like- apple juice and cranberry are delicious options.
    • Sparkling water- I used Trader Joe's sparkling water, but you can use any water you like.

    How To Make

Start by slicing and cutting up all the fruits you are using. I sliced my citrus and cut the orange slices in half. You can also cut the fruit into smaller chunks so they will pour into the glasses. I personally prefer the larger chunks and keeping in the pitcher.

Once the fruit is cut, add it the pitcher and pour the juice over it. Let this sit for at least and hour to get the flavors of the fruits into the juice.

When you are ready to serve, pour in your sparkling water. I do not add ice to the drink, only to the serving glasses, then it doesn't water down the drink more than needed.

    Variations

There are some simple ways to mix this drink up a bit to make it your own, let me share a few I have tried and like,

    • As noted above, there are many types of fruit to add to the drink- citrus, different apple varieties, blackberries, blueberries, mangoes, pineapple, etc.
    • If you want to bring the citrus flavor up, add in a squeeze of lemon or lime juice to the drink as well.
    • If you don't feel like the drink it sweet enough, you can also blend in some honey or simple syrup.
    • Lemon-lime sodas are another option for adding in a carbonated lemon/lime flavor.

    Other non alcoholic drink options

Are you looking for other non alcoholic drink options? I've got your covered with plenty of other ideas. These are all so popular in our house. Give them a try. Find a great seat on the front porch and RELAX!

    Ingredients

    • 4 cups assorted sliced fruits
    • 6 cups grape juice
    • 1 quart sparkling water, chilled

    Instructions

    • Add sliced fruits to the pitcher. Pour the grape juice over the fruit. Let it sit at least 1 hour or up to 4 hours.
    • When it is time to serve, add in the sparkling water. I prefer adding ice to the cups and not in the pitcher as I don't want to water down the sangria.
    • Serve right away and enjoy!
