If you're looking for a refreshing drink to cool off on a hot day, this Strawberry Mango Agua Fresca is just the thing. Fresh strawberries, sweet mangoes, lime juice, and honey come together for a light, fruity drink that's easy to make and even easier to enjoy.
It's perfect for summer barbecues, pool days, or anytime you have fresh fruit on hand and want something a little more exciting than plain water.

Ingredients
- Fresh Mangoes-I like using Champagne (Ataulfo) mangoes because they're extra sweet and have a creamy texture, but any ripe mango will work. Frozen mango can also be used if fresh isn't available.
- Fresh Strawberries- Fresh strawberries give this agua fresca the best flavor. Choose ripe berries for the sweetest drink.
- Fresh Lime Juice- Fresh lime juice brightens the fruit flavors and adds just the right amount of tartness.
- Honey- Honey adds a touch of sweetness without using refined sugar. Feel free to adjust the amount depending on how sweet your fruit is.
- Water- Water keeps the drink light and refreshing while letting the fresh fruit shine.
- Ice- Serve over plenty of ice for the most refreshing drink.
How to make
Peel and chop the mangoes, then hull the strawberries.
Add the mangoes, strawberries, water, honey, and fresh lime juice to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.
If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve. I usually leave the pulp in for extra flavor and texture.
Pour over glasses filled with ice and garnish with fresh strawberries, mango slices, or a lime wedge if you'd like.

Recipe Tips
- Use ripe fruit for the sweetest, best-tasting agua fresca.
- Taste before serving and add more honey or lime juice if needed.
- Chill the fruit before blending so the drink is extra cold.
- For a smoother texture, strain the blended mixture before serving.
Variations
- Replace the honey with maple syrup or your favorite sweetener.
- Add a handful of fresh mint before blending.
- Mix in pineapple or peaches for another fruity twist.
- Top each glass with a splash of sparkling water for a little fizz.
